During a recent appearance on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) QandA program, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was asked to define the modern-day dream for young Australians?

“Is it just to survive? Or will we start seeing a pathway to thrive?”

The Prime Minister struggled to answer. He said he was a natural optimist, and believed despite some steps back, “History moves forward, over time.”

He acknowledged that the dream of home ownership was more difficult to envision today than a decade ago. But he was optimistic that Australia’s multiculturalism and our geographic location in Southeast Asia, a region of the world “that is the fastest growing in human history” means this is where “all the action is in economic development.”

“Australia is really well positioned,” said the Prime Minister. “We have the best solar resources in the world in the sky. We have everything to drive the global economy under the ground. We have a (multicultural) workforce …and that’s a conn…
